The cycle of rain and storm in UP is not stopping. Since Wednesday morning, intermittent rain with strong winds has been occurring in 20 districts including Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda, Jaunpur, and Aligarh. People were seen on the roads carrying raincoats and umbrellas. In rural areas, at many places, wheat crops lying cut in the fields have been submerged.
In Lucknow, a tree fell on a car late at night. The driver narrowly escaped, but the car was damaged. The meteorological department stated that due to the western disturbance, the weather has changed. Today, alerts for rain have been issued in 47 districts and for hail in 9 districts. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 60 km/h.
Talking about Tuesday, rain accompanied by storm occurred in 15 districts including Agra and Mathura. Several trees and poles fell in Kanpur and Jhansi. The average temperature of the state has dropped by up to 4 degrees. The mercury, which had reached 41 degrees five days ago, has now fallen to 37 degrees. Jalaun remained the hottest at 37.4 degrees.
In Agra, the gate of a marriage hall fell due to the storm, in which an auto-rickshaw was trapped. More than 10 trees fell in Hathras. In one week, 15 people have died due to storm and lightning.

April 9 – There will be light rain with thunder and lightning in eastern and western UP. Hail may also fall with storms in eastern UP.
April 10 – The weather will be clear in eastern and western UP. Sunshine will appear in some places. This will increase the temperature by 2-3 degrees.
April 11 – A new western disturbance will be active. This may again deteriorate the weather across the state. Rain may occur along with strong winds.
