Dehradun: Light rain and snowfall are expected today in three districts of Uttarakhand. These include the high-altitude areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh. According to the Meteorological Department, snowfall will be more prevalent in areas above 3,000 meters. However, this change will not significantly affect temperatures.
According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, the weather will remain dry across the state from March 1st to 5th. The weather will be completely clear on Holi. The bright sunshine from the plains to the mountains may cause some discomfort, even with the heat.
The average temperature, especially in the plains, may increase by five to six degrees. Earlier yesterday, rain fell in Kedar Valley and Sonprayag, including the Kedarnath shrine in Rudraprayag.
