Khorak is a Sindhi Sweets made from whole wheat flour, ghee, nuts, poppy seeds and edible gum.
Ingredients
1 and half cup whole wheat flour, 1 and half cup Desi Ghee, 1 and half cup Jaggery, 30 gms of Edible gum, 2 tbsp of Poppy seeds, 12-15 Almonds, 10-12 Cashew, 10 Unsalted Pistachios, Handful Black raisins and Kishmish, 5-6 green cardamoms
Method
Mix Jaggery in hot and Melt. Heat a tbsp of desi ghee and Fry edible gum till puffed and grind. Add flour in ghee and Roast till light brown. Add powdered edible gum, poppy seeds. chopped dry fruits. flour turns brown, add raisins and Melted Jaggery flour will absorb liquid pretty fast
Garnish With Dry Fruits
Pour the contents on the greased plate. Garnish with dry fruits and cut Slice
