Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Pradeep Joshi on Tuesday addressed a large youth conference at the Harpal Tiwana Auditorium, calling upon youngsters to contribute towards building an India capable of leading the world.
Speaking at the event organised in Patiala district, Joshi said the work of the Sangh is not limited to organisational expansion, but also focuses on bringing social and cultural transformation through ideas, values, and traditions. He emphasised that India is “not merely a country, but an idea,” rooted in the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam the belief that the entire world is one family.
Highlighting India’s democratic strength and cultural heritage, he said the country possesses the capability to emerge as a global leader based on its values and traditions.
The youth conference witnessed participation from towns, settlements, and several mandals across Patiala district. Organisers said around 755 youths below the age of 40 attended the programme, while nearly 100 participants above 50 years of age were also present. Around 100 volunteers worked systematically to ensure the successful conduct of the event.
According to organisers, preparations for the conference had begun nearly a month in advance, with meetings being held across various settlements and mandals to mobilise participation.
The organisers said Joshi’s address infused enthusiasm and energy among the youth attendees
