26-year-old youth stabbed to death in Jalandhar

Jalandhar: A 26-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Mohalla Chai Aam of Basti Sheikh in Jalandhar. The deceased has been identified as Ankit Jamba, a resident of Mohalla Chai Aam in Bastiat area.

Ankit is being survived by pregnant wife who was also present with him at the time of the incident.   Karan Malli and his associates have been accused of murder. At present the police is investigating this matter.

The deceased’s brother Mani told that there was an old dispute going on with the accused. Mani said that Ankit’s last rites will not be performed until the police arrests the accused. Ankit’s post-mortem will be conducted today. According to the information received, the main accused is Karan Malli and is associated with AAP.  

Ankit is survived by Manisha. Ankit was married to Manisha four years ago. After four years of marriage, she was now 4 months pregnant. Manisha told that she was riding a bike with her husband Ankit at night to get medicines when he was stabbed to death. In the incident, Manisha, also suffered injuries.
