However, a western disturbance has become active today. Due to this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in 6 districts. These districts include Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Rupnagar, Mohali and Fatehgarh Sahib.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of heatwave till April 17 and 19. On April 18 and 19, there will be thunderstorms and lightning along with heat wave. During this time, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. While there is no heat wave alert on April 20 and 21.
Similarly, if we talk about rain, there is no alert on the 17th. After this, there is a possibility of rain from 18 to 20. The weather will be clear on 21 April.
The Meteorological Department has indicated that the temperature will increase by 0.2 degrees to 4 degrees in the next four days. After this the temperature will start falling. However, at present the temperature of most of the districts is above normal. These include Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Pathankot, Tarn Taran, Ludhiana, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Moga and Amritsar.
