Gurugram, April 20: A case of theft of Rs 25 lakh has come to light from a flat in Raheja Atlantis, a luxury society located in Sector 31, Gurugram. Flat owner Tariq Hussain has lodged a complaint in Sector 40 police station and expressed suspicion on the Nepali servant. Police have registered an FIR and started investigation.
In the complaint given to the police, Tariq Hussain told that the Nepali servant Ramesh was working as a servant in his house for the last 7-8 months. On April 15, Ramesh suddenly left the job without informing anyone. At that time, the family did not take this incident seriously.
The safe was opened five days after the servant left
On April 19, when Tariq opened his suitcase to give money to someone, he found that the Rs 25 lakh kept in it was missing. After this revelation, the family immediately spoke to the security staff of the society. The security staff said that on April 15, Ramesh was seen going out of the society carrying a heavy bag.
Tariq Hussain said that he is sure that Ramesh has stolen his Rs 25 lakh. He said that this incident has not only caused financial loss to the family but also broken their trust, because Ramesh had been working with him for a long time.
The accused had gone with a heavy suitcase
After receiving the complaint, the police of Sector 40 police station, Gurugram, started immediate action. The police have registered a case of theft and started searching for Ramesh. The police have started scanning the CCTV footage of the society so that it can be confirmed that Ramesh is the main accused in the theft. Apart from this, the police is gathering information about the possible places of Ramesh’s stay.
