Bengaluru, April 21: An Indian Air Force officer, Wing Commander Adityus Bozon, has alleged that he was physically assaulted and verbally abused during a road rage incident in Bengaluru early Monday morning. The officer was en route to the airport with his wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita, when the attack reportedly occurred.

In a disturbing video shared on Instagram, Wing Commander Bozon detailed the incident. He claimed the attack happened after a biker intercepted their car near CV Raman Nagar and began hurling abuses in Kannada. The couple resides in the DRDO quarters in the same locality.

“He stopped our car, started abusing me in Kannada, and upon seeing the DRDO sticker, began targeting us further. When I stepped out, he struck me on the forehead with his bike keys,” Bozon said in the video. He further alleged that the man vandalised their car with a stone, while bystanders joined in the verbal abuse instead of intervening.

The officer, visibly shaken, said he and his wife sought help at the police station but were initially met with inaction. “This is what Karnataka has become. I believed in Karnataka, but this really shocked me,” he stated, calling for justice and warning that if the law does not act, he may be forced to defend himself.

Bozon also revealed he was flying to Kolkata to visit his ailing father, making the incident even more distressing for the family.

The Bengaluru Police have since registered an FIR against unidentified individuals and are investigating the matter. authorities have not yet confirmed the exact location of the incident, but acknowledged that the alleged assault took place on the route from CV Raman Nagar to Kempegowda International Airport.

This case has sparked widespread concern online, with several users demanding swift justice and better safety for armed forces personnel.
