An important meeting of Congress is going to be held in Himachal Pradesh today. On the instructions of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), a meeting has been called at 3 pm in the afternoon at the party headquarters Rajiv Bhawan. In this, the party leaders will be informed about the decisions taken in the national convention of Congress held in Ahmedabad.
Similarly, a strategy will be made to respond to every attack of the opposition on the National Herald case. After filing a charge sheet against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in this case, this matter is gaining momentum. Verbal attacks are being made continuously on Congress across the country. This matter has become more serious in Himachal because the state government has given advertisements worth Rs 2.34 crore to National Herald in two and a half years.
The opposition is making it a big issue. The opposition says that crores are being spent on a newspaper which is not printed at all and whose copy does not reach Himachal. In such a situation, Congress will prepare a strategy in tomorrow’s meeting on the National Herald case.
These leaders will attend the meeting
In today’s meeting, apart from all the Congress MLAs, the candidates who lost in the 2022 assembly elections, chairmen-vice chairmen posted in various boards and corporations of the government, presidents of all the frontal organizations of the Congress have been called.
State President Pratibha Singh has issued an information letter to them to be present in the meeting. Similarly, for tomorrow’s meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan has issued a separate letter to the Assembly Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Congress State President and party MLAs.
