Ludhiana: Prisoner found unconscious in Ludhiana Central Jail, admitted to central jail

According to sources, it has been learned that Manjinder's condition has deteriorated under suspicious circumstances.

On Thursday night at 10 o’clock, an undertrial prisoner lodged in Ludhiana’s Central Jail was admitted to the Civil Hospital in an unconscious state. The prisoner was identified as Manjinder Singh (37). Seeing Manjinder’s condition deteriorating, he was immediately referred to Rajindra Hospital. According to sources, it has been learned that Manjinder’s condition has deteriorated under suspicious circumstances.

According to the information, in January, some people dressed as Nihangs looted an Alto car in village Kamalpur. In this case, some people attacked Inspector Harshvir Singh of Thana Sadar and Tarsem Singh, in-charge of Chowki Marado and 2 other police personnel who had gone for raid. Manjinder Singh is lodged in jail in this case.

Condition deteriorated when he returned from the hearing

Yesterday, undertrial Manjinder had to appear in court and in the evening when he was brought back to the jail, his condition suddenly deteriorated. He was taken to the jail hospital where he fainted. He was taken to the civil hospital by the jail administration where the doctor admitted him for treatment after seeing his critical condition.

According to sources, it has been found that the prisoner Manjinder ate something during the hearing. His condition deteriorated due to overdose of that thing. According to the doctors of the civil hospital, it can be confirmed only after medical examination what Manjinder has eaten. Currently, he has been referred to Rajindra Hospital.
