Rajasthan ‘Bandh’ over Pahalagam terror attack; 400 pakistanis to be sent back after centre’s orders

The central government has ordered the expulsion of Pakistani citizens. Information has been received about 400 Pakistani citizens in the state. Preparations have been started to send all these Pakistani citizens to Pakistan via the Attari border. Rajasthan’s intelligence wing became active after receiving orders from the Home Ministry.

DG Intelligence Sanjay Agarwal in Jaipur said- After the order of the Centre, orders have been given to all the district SPs to send back the Pakistani citizens who came to Rajasthan on different visas. After this, many Pakistani citizens have returned on their own. Preparations have been completed to send those who are left. All SPs have been instructed to take action to send Pakistani citizens from their districts to Pakistan as soon as possible.

People from various organizations gathered at Gandhi Chowk

Members of various social organizations and common citizens gathered at Gandhi Chowk since morning and expressed their anger against the terrorist incident. They demanded the government to take strict action against the culprits. Due to the bandh call, auto rickshaws plying in the city were also missing from the roads today.

Common people also had to face a lot of difficulties in going from one place to another. Umashankar Mahamiya, convener of Jhunjhunu Citizen Forum, said that only five taxis are being operated during the shutdown, which will provide free services under emergency medical service.

A control room has also been set up to deal with any emergency and to solve the problems of the people during the shutdown. Its numbers are 9413567031 and 820902224. People who are seriously ill or are stuck in an emergency can call these numbers and contact for free transportation.

Exams will remain the same

There has been no change in the board examinations to be held in the state during the lockdown. The examinations of class 9th and 11th will be conducted as per their scheduled time so that the students do not face any kind of problem.

All the communities of the city supported the shutdown

People of all communities of Jhunjhunu city unitedly extended their support to this bandh, which shows their deep condolences and protest against the Pahalgam incident. The widespread impact of the bandh was seen in the city since morning. Auto drivers plying in the city also urged people to maintain peace.
