Electrician dies due to electric shock in Rewari; Brother alleges lack of safety equipment

An electrician died of electrocution in a company in Rewari, Haryana. The deceased’s brother has accused the company management of negligence. On which the Kasaula police station has registered a case of negligence against the company owner, company manager, and HR manager.

Vedpal, a resident of Raliyavas village in Rewari, said that his brother Rampal Yadav was working as an electrician in CJ Darsal Logistics Limited for 2 years. On the evening of April 28, at 4 pm, he received information that Rampal Yadav had been electrocuted.

He was being taken to the trauma center in Rewari. When he reached the trauma center, he found out that Rampal had died. Rampal’s colleagues told him that at the time of the incident, Rampal was neither provided with any safety equipment like gloves, rubber shoes, etc., nor was anyone present with him. The company has been negligent, due to which his brother died.

Investigating officer of Kasaula police station of Rewari, SI Sachin, said that on the complaint of the deceased employee’s brother, a case of negligence has been registered against the company owner, manager, and HR manager. The body has been handed over to the family after the post-mortem. The investigation is going on in the case.
