Kullu, May 1: Two boys drowned in the Malana river in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday evening. While crossing the river on Bridge-4, both were swept away by the strong current of water. The body of one has been recovered, while the other is still missing. The police have registered a case and started further action.
The local administration, police, home guards, fire brigade, Negi brothers and local people have started a search operation to find the missing youth. The water of Malana dam has been stopped and the missing youth is being searched so that the youth does not get swept away by the flow of water. Both the boys were returning to Malana village from Bhuntar of Kullu in the evening.
