Haryana CM Nayab Saini has called a cabinet meeting today. Many important agendas are expected to be approved in this meeting. The new excise policy is expected to be approved in the meeting. Apart from this, there will be a discussion on amendment in the rules of direct recruitment to Group C and D posts in the meeting.
Along with this, the criteria of Lado Laxmi Yojana, which gives Rs 2100 per month to women, will also be discussed. CM Nayab Saini can also discuss with his fellow ministers in the meeting regarding the ongoing water dispute between Punjab and Haryana.
The Excise Department has prepared a new policy for the state after studying the policies of neighboring states. Regarding this, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also held a meeting with the officials of the Excise Department for about one and a half to two hours two days ago.
Through the Excise Policy, the government has set a target of raising more than 1200 crores of revenue. Due to this, the price of liquor is sure to increase. There are about two and a half thousand liquor shops in about 1200 zones in Haryana. The excise policy can be approved in the cabinet meeting.
Haryana government has also prepared revised rules for direct recruitment to Group C and Group D posts. In this regard, the High Court had directed the Haryana government to make rules. Direct recruitment will be done on some posts of Group C and Group D through Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). It is possible that these rules may be approved in the cabinet meeting.
