Rajasthan: Large projectile debris found in Pokhran

Local residents expressed confidence in the army’s response, with one family member, Manu Khan, stating, “We are not afraid. We believe in the Army. No damage occurred, and we are safe.”

Reports from locals indicate that no injuries or damage have been reported, and police arrived quickly at the scene.

Meanwhile, amidst escalating tensions with Pakistan due to Operation Sindoor, Barmer has been placed on high red alert. District Collector Tina Dabi has issued an urgent order for residents to stay indoors, restricting movement and market activities to ensure safety. Residents near Uttarlai Air Force Station and Jalipa Military Station reported witnessing the aftermath of a Pakistani attack that was reportedly neutralized by Indian security forces in the early hours. The authorities have not yet officially confirmed the debris’s origin.

Locals in the area recounted hearing loud noises around 5:15 to 5:30 am, which led to vigilance among residents, who soon found projectile debris in the vicinity.

Additionally, fragmented debris from an unidentified projectile was recovered in a field in Mughlani Kot Village, Punjab’s Amritsar district. Gursahib Singh, the village Sarpanch, said the incident happened around 5 am, but no injuries have been reported.

Meanwhile, India reportedly conducted strikes on four Pakistani airbases overnight, in retaliation for Pakistan targeting 26 locations across India. Ongoing firing along the Line of Control continues as tensions remain high between the two nations.
