The weather of the state once again saw a change on Wednesday. During this time, people had to face humidity and scorching heat. At some places, the day temperature also crossed 42 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was highest in Bhiwani and Panchkula. Both these districts were the hottest in the state. However, in the evening, dust storms came in the western districts.
If weather experts are to be believed, the temperature will increase till May 19 and people will have to bear the heat. Weather expert Dr. Chandramohan said that once again due to the blowing of western hot winds and increasing heat of the sun, the day temperature increased on Wednesday. However, due to the intermittent south-western winds, people had to face humid heat. However, in the evening, dust storms in many districts brought relief from the heat.
During this time, the day temperature was recorded at 40 degrees or more in 10 districts of the state. The maximum temperature in Bhiwani and Panchkula was 42.3 degrees and both these districts were also the hottest in the state. On Tuesday, due to the effect of light rain and hailstorm in many districts of the state, the night temperature dropped by 3.5 degrees. The minimum temperature in Panipat was 21.5 degrees, which was the lowest in the state.
The weather will remain like this in future
The temperature will increase continuously till May 19. A weak western disturbance will become active on May 17, which will only lead to a rise in temperature. Also, surface winds will blow at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour. There may be partial clouds in between. During this time, there is also a possibility of heat wave at one or two places. A new western disturbance will become active on May 19, due to which there is a possibility of rain till May 22.
