Chandigarh, May 20: In view of the cases of Pakistani spies being caught continuously in Haryana, on Tuesday, CM Nayab Saini has given instructions to impose restrictions on YouTubers of the state.
In a review meeting with the Home and Police Department in Chandigarh regarding law and order, the CM gave instructions to prepare SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). In the meeting, CM Saini discussed with the officials about the security of the state.
After the case of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra came to light, he has given instructions to keep a close watch on Pakistan-supported or Pakistan-linked YouTube channels and to scrutinize their data. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi and Home Secretary Dr. Sumita Mishra were also present in the meeting.

- Coordination between DC and SP is necessary: After the meeting, Haryana’s ACS Home Sumita Mishra said that today CM Nayab Saini has held a meeting regarding law and order. There was a very in-depth discussion about the security of the state. It has also been decided in the meeting that coordination between SP and DC in the district is very important. Along with this, both officers are equally responsible for handling law and order of the district together.
- Action against Pak-backed operatives will continue: He said that there was also a discussion about Pakistan-backed operatives in the state. This action has not ended, it will continue.
- Government is investigating YouTube channels linked to Pakistan: Dr. Sumita Mishra said that the records of other YouTube channels in Haryana are also being investigated. Special cells have been formed to monitor social media, through which the government is constantly monitoring. Continuous action is being taken against those who have links to Pakistan, sleeper cells.
- Efforts are being made to remove the deficiencies: He said that the government is trying to remove the security deficiencies that were found during the recent mock drill and other actions.
- Jyoti Malhotra was also travelling on legal documents: On being asked about the Pakistani spy YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra who was recently caught from Hisar, the Home Secretary said that this was not an intelligence failure.
