A student of Polytechnic College died when a Roadways bus overturned near the village Rajli. Four other people travelling in the bus were reported injured. There were about 80 passengers in the bus. According to information, this road was constructed some time ago. Due to which the soil was put on the side of the road. The bus overturned due to wet soil.
According to information, a Roadways bus goes to the village Thurana daily. The bus halts at the village Thurana at night. After this, in the morning, this bus reaches Hisar via Thurana, Rajli. Students, employees, and other people from these villages come to the city by boarding the bus. On Monday morning, this bus left from Thurana at 6:30 am. When the bus reached near Rajli gate at about 8 o’clock, a tree had fallen on the side of the road.
When the bus driver took the bus to the other side of the road to save it from the fallen tree, both the tires of the bus got stuck in the soil on the side of the road due to which the bus overturned.
Khurshid Mohammad, a resident of the village Rajli and a student of Polytechnic College, who was near the window of the bus, was badly injured. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. 4 other people, including the bus driver, were injured in the accident. The injured were discharged from the hospital after first aid. It is being said that there were 80 to 90 passengers in the bus.
