A woman from Tanda, Hoshiarpur, has accused her in-laws of beating her. Rajni Bala, a woman undergoing treatment at the local Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur, said that her husband and in-laws beat her up for no reason.
She has also filed a complaint with the Tanda police station. She said that recently, her in-laws brutally beat her up for no reason when she went home to get clothes for her children, because after the beating, she was living with her paternal family.
On the other hand, the SHO of Tanda police station says that the police have registered a case against the in-laws on the statements of the victim Rajni Bala and have started action, and the culprits will be arrested soon.
