The cases of COVID-19 have started increasing once again in the state, due to which the health department is on alert mode. Along with the arrangement of beds for Covid patients in the civil hospital, a flu corner has also been created. Apart from this, refresher training has also been started.
Orders have been given to doctors and nursing officers to remain alert. They have been asked to take samples of potential patients coming to the physician’s OPD. Apart from this, orders have been issued to monitor cases of influenza-like symptoms and severe acute respiratory infections.
District Malaria Officer Dr. Subhash Khatreja said that arrangements have been made in the civil hospital in view of Covid-19. A flu corner has been created in the hospital premises. Apart from this, RT-PCR and rapid antigen testing kits are available.
He said that instructions have been given to the physician to take samples of potential patients. He says that to avoid Covid, wear a mask and do not go to crowded areas. Do give a COVID-19 sample if you have fever. If symptoms appear, keep the patient in a separate room in the house and maintain a distance from him. Keep washing your hands from time to time.
There is an increase in the cases of COVID-19 in the state once again. Given this, the Health Department of Haryana has alerted all the districts.
Through a letter issued on 23 May 2025 by the Director General Health Services, Haryana (Panchkula), all civil surgeons have been instructed to strengthen the preparations related to COVID-19 and increase surveillance. It has been said in this letter that in view of the increasing trend in COVID-19 cases, all the districts have to be vigilant and take steps under effective preparations.
