Western Disturbance triggers rain in Rajasthan Orange alert in 17 districts

Jaipur, June 2: Western disturbance has become active in Rajasthan from today. Due to its effect, rain is expected in 30 districts today. An orange alert has been issued in 17 districts and a yellow alert in 13 districts. On June 3, an Orange alert was issued, predicting the possibility of thunderstorms and rain in 75% of the state. While thunderstorm activities are likely to continue in different areas of the state till June 5.

If we look at the weather of the last 24 hours, then Jaisalmer will be the hottest on Sunday. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 41 degrees Celsius. Only Jaipur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Churu and Kota were the cities where the maximum temperature was between 40 and 41 degrees Celsius. Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dausa, Alwar, Hanumangarh Churu areas experienced humidity throughout the day on Sunday. Light clouds covered the sky after noon.

There was a strong storm in the afternoon in Bharatpur, Alwar and Churu areas, and light rain occurred at many places. There is light drizzle in some places in Jaipur in the evening. The maximum temperature on Sunday in Jaipur was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius.

Mercury dropped to 5 degrees, temperature recorded at 41

In Rajasthan, the temperature dropped by 5 degrees on Sunday due to the change in weather. Due to this, the maximum temperature was recorded below 41 degrees Celsius in all the cities except Jaisalmer. On Sunday, the temperature was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius in Barmer, 40.8 in Kota, 40.4 in Churu, 39.8 in Bikaner, 39.2 in Ganganagar, 39.1 in Karauli and 38.6 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur. Similarly, the temperature was recorded at 37.9 in Nagaur, 37.8 in Baran, 34.8 in Dungarpur, 38.5 in Hanumangarh, 36.9 in Jalore, 32.8 in Sirohi, 37 in Ajmer, 37.2 in Bhilwara and 38 degrees Celsius in Alwar.
