The State Special Operations Cell in Punjab has arrested another associate of terrorist Arsh Dalla. The accused’s name is Kulwinder Singh alias Kinda. More than four cases, including drug trafficking, are registered against Kinda.
Just yesterday, the police arrested another accused, Kawaljit Singh (village Dharamkot), against whom eight cases are registered. During interrogation, he told that he has been in many jails of Punjab, including Sri Muktsar Sahib, Ludhiana,and Moga. He came out of Faridkot jail only in April 2025.
Investigation has revealed that while in jail in 2023, he contacted Sukhdul Singh alias Sukha Duneke (now dead) with the help of other prisoners. Sukha Duneke included him in the crime gang after getting bail and also introduced him to Arsh Dalla.
It is worth noting that Sukha Duneke was originally a resident of Moga and was associated with the terrorist gang. He was murdered in Winnipeg, Canada in September 2023, after which the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility.
After Sukha’s death, Kawaljit alias Kaka was being directly handled by Arsh Dala. After being released from jail in April 2025, Kawaljit re-contacted Arsh Dala, who instructed him to carry out a high-profile target killing in Faridkot to avenge the death of his associate Sukha Dunneke.
For the killing, Kanwaljit was introduced to two more people Navdeep Singh alias Honey, Kulwinder Singh alias Kinda resident of district Moga by Arsh Dala. Kinda revealed that he had met Kawaljit alias Kaka in Faridkot jail.
He had recently gone to Barnala with Kawaljit and Navdeep, where they recovered nine rounds of ammunition to be used in the planned murder. The police recovered a .32 bore pistol along with 03 cartridges which were provided to him by Arsh Dala specifically to carry out the murder.
