Amritsar, June 21: In a major crackdown against terrorism, Punjab Police has busted a terror module linked to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The module was being operated by UK-based Khalistani terrorist Dharam Singh alias Dharam Sandhu, who is believed to be close to Pakistan-based dreaded terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda.
Amritsar Commissionerate Police has arrested a local operator named Omkar Singh associated with this gang. During the arrest, the police recovered 6 modern pistols from his possession, including 4 Glock 9mm and 2 PX-5 (.30 bore).
The gang was active at the instigation of Rinda

This gang was planning violent incidents in Punjab by importing weapons from abroad. He said that due to the vigilance and swift action of Amritsar Police, a big conspiracy has been foiled.
Police is searching for other members of the module
An FIR has been registered in this case and police teams are engaged in identifying other associates and networks associated with the module.
