NIA conducts early morning raid in Jalandhar; Searches house in posh colony

On Thursday morning, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 6 to 7  locations in Punjab, including a prominent operation in friends Colony, a posh residential area of Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, June 26: On Thursday morning, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 6 to 7  locations in Punjab, including a prominent operation in Friends Colony, a posh residential area of Jalandhar. the NIA team arrived at the location around 7 am, accompanied by local police officials.

Tenant under investigation, Digital evidence recovered

According to sources within the NIA, officers are currently questioning a tenant residing in the colony. During the search, the team recovered several documents and digital devices, which are now under examination.

Authorities are also closely reviewing the suspect’s mobile phone data and communication records to determine who has been in contact with him.

Tight security outside house, No public access allowed

Heavy police deployment has been established outside the residence. No one is being allowed to enter or exit the premises, maintaining strict strict control over the scene during ongoing operation.

If the suspect fails to cooperate, the NIA may detain him for further questioning. Howver, as of now, no official statement has been made regarding the specific case or charges connected to the raid.
