The driver of a Desire car hit a bike rider near the village of Dhingsara between Fatehabad and Bhattu. Due to which the electricity worker, along with the bike, fell on the road. Due to this, he died. After getting information about the case, the police reached the spot and took the body for a postmortem.
According to the information, Shashi Kumar (44), a resident of village Dhingsara, used to distribute bills and take readings of the Electricity Corporation. He used to work on contract with the Electricity Corporation. On Wednesday evening, he was coming from Bhattu Kalan to his village, Dhingsara on a bike.
Meanwhile, a driver coming from behind with a Desire car hit his bike. After which Shashi Kumar fell on the road along with the bike. Due to this he suffered serious injuries and died.
Passers-by informed the ambulance and police
Immediately after the incident, people from nearby areas reached the spot and informed the ambulance and police helpline number. However, Shashi Kumar was immediately taken to Fatehabad Civil Hospital with the help of passersby. But the doctor declared him dead.
