Gangster Romil Vohra, who was killed in an encounter with the STF, was cremated at the cremation ground in Kansapur on Friday under police protection. Father Kapil Vohra lit the pyre of his son. He was deputed from the district jail to attend the funeral at 10:15 am. After the funeral, he was sent back to jail.
Only the people from the neighbourhood were present during the funeral, but no relatives arrived. As soon as the father got down from the prison van, he reached the body of his son Romil in tears and started crying loudly while kissing his forehead.
While mother Risha Vohra was already sitting near the body of her son and looking at him. In such a situation, the aunt hugged Risha and consoled her. On the other hand, some suspicious people were also seen during the funeral, whom the intelligence system interrogated and asked their names.
Let us tell you that the notorious sharpshooter Romil Vohra, who had been a headache for the police for many days, was killed in an encounter by the Special Task Force (STF) in the area near the Delhi-Haryana border near Dera Mandi.
A total of eight cases are registered against the deceased gangster Romil, out of which five cases are registered in Gandhi Nagar Police Station, Radaur Police Station, Jagadhari City Police Station, Chhappar Police Station and Vyaspur Police Station. Romil was a resident of the Ashok Vihar Colony of the Kansapur area.
