Jaipur, June 28: The mother of Rajveer Singh Chauhan, the pilot who died in the Kedarnath helicopter crash, died of a heart attack on Saturday. Mother Sona Kanwar died 13 days after Rajveer’s death. Friday was Rajveer’s 12th day.
On Saturday morning, the family and colony members were sitting outside the house. During this time, Sona Kanwar (58) started experiencing pain. The family and colony members took her to Kanvatiya Hospital. Here, the doctors declared her dead. After the incident, the entire family and relatives reached Kanvatiya Hospital. The body was brought home. The last rites will be performed at Mokshadham in Chandpol.
In fact, on June 15, 7 people, including pilot Rajveer Singh Chauhan, died in the Kedarnath helicopter crash. Rajveer had retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. After retiring from the Army, Rajveer was flying helicopters for a private aviation company. Singh had become the father of twin sons about 4 months ago.
Let us tell you that in honour of Rajveer Singh Chauhan, a special programme was organised by the entire society on Sunday in the name of the brave son of Mother India. In this, the square and road of Nandi Baba temple were named after Lt. Colonel Rajveer Singh Chauhan, Veer Tiranga Yatra was taken out, a collective tribute meeting and a collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation was organised for the peace of the departed soul. Sona Kanwar was talking to her relatives and people of the colony to discuss this programme.
