Varun Dhawan shared a post and wrote, ‘Once again the media has covered the demise of a soul in an insensitive manner. I don’t understand why you have to cover someone’s grief. Everyone gets very uncomfortable with this. What is anyone gaining from this? I request my friends in the media, no person would want their last journey to be covered like this.’

Janhvi Kapoor reposted Varun’s remarks and wrote, “Finally someone said this,” expressing her full support against the way Shefali’s funeral was covered by media.

Rashami Desai and Paras Chhabra also speak out

Apart from Jhanvi and Varun, Rashmi Desai also objected to the video in which questions were being raised on Shefali Jariwala’s behavior at her funeral. Rashmi re-shared the video and wrote, ‘Really? Do you want to call this journalism? You should be ashamed.’

Actually, on the page, Shefali’s husband Parag was shown walking his pet dog. When Paras confronted the reporter who questioned Parag’s behavior, he publicly reprimanded her and said, I saw your news about the dog, this is very bad. What should that person do? You people make very bad news.
