Gurugram, July 3: A 15-year-old girl committed suicide in Sector 14 of Gurugram. She was studying in 10th class. The family members say that the student was suffering from mental illness for a long time. The girl came home from school and hanged herself. At the time of the incident, her father had gone to work, while the girl’s mother had also gone out of the house.
According to the family members, she was taking medicines regularly and was under the supervision of doctors. On receiving the information, Sector 14 police station reached the spot, took the body in its custody and sent it to the hospital for postmortem.
Police are busy investigating the matter
The police have started a preliminary investigation and all aspects of the case are being thoroughly probed. The exact reason for the suicide is not yet known, but the police say that they are questioning family members, friends and schoolmates to uncover the reasons behind the incident.
