Mumbai, July 8: The second season of the popular TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ is going to be aired on TV soon. The first look of the show has been released by Star Plus. Fans are very happy to see Smriti Irani in the role of Tulsi after 25 years.
Smriti Irani and Star Plus’ official Instagram account released the first look of the show and wrote, “Are you still unable to believe it? After 25 years, Tulsi Virani is returning with a new story. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is once again ready to be a part of every household, are you also ready?”
Along with the first look, Star Plus and Smriti Irani have released the release date of the show. The show will air on Star Plus and Jio Hotstar from July 29 at 10:30 pm every day.
In the first look released, Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani is seen watering the Tulsi plant in the courtyard as before. The teaser begins with a family discussing whether Tulsi has gone into politics after so many years. Will she return to TV now or not?
Let us tell you that the TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ is one of the most popular shows in the Indian TV industry. The first season started on 3 July 2000. This show ran till 2008. Its 1833 episodes were telecasted in 8 years. Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay, Ronit Roy, Mandira Bedi, Sudha Shivpuri, Jaya Bhattacharya, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan were in important roles in this show of Ekta Kapoor.
