Six killed in separate road accidents in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh: The first incident took place late Friday night near Amardar turn in the Katni district’s Kuthla police station area, where a speeding truck collided with a motorcycle. The collision was so severe that all three riders on the motorcycle died instantly. The victims — Pushpendra Pal (35), Kallu Lal Chaudhary, and Shuru alias.

The collision was so severe that all three riders on the motorcycle died instantly. The victims — Pushpendra Pal (35), Kallu Lal Chaudhary, and Shuru alias Aashiq Rajak — were residents of Rohania village in Panna district.

They were returning home when the accident happened. Police stated that the truck was being driven recklessly and struck the motorcycle, after which the driver fled the scene, leaving behind the damaged vehicle and grieving families. Authorities seized the truck and have launched a search for the absconding driver, and a case has been registered.

In a second incident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Mandsaur, a car lost control and crashed, resulting in the deaths of two passengers and serious injuries to three others. All five individuals were traveling from Vadodara to Delhi when the accident occurred near Chaykhedi within the Sitamau police jurisdiction. While Ritambara and Shreyas died instantly, Babli and Kumar Ashish sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the Sitamau Community Health Centre, with plans to transfer them to Jabalpur. The fifth passenger sustained minor injuries.

In the third crash, a high-speed truck-trailer coming from the opposite direction collided with a car near Tindni village under the Kotwali police jurisdiction. The car was carrying Mandla businessman Rakesh Agarwal and his family. Ritu Agarwal, Rakesh’s wife, died on the spot, while Rakesh and his son Rahul suffered severe injuries. Villagers helped transport the injured to Katra Hospital for treatment, with plans to refer them to Jabalpur due to their critical conditions. Police have seized the truck trailer and launched a search for its driver, and the deceased’s body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
