Rohit Kumar, a resident of Anand Nagar B, Patiala, was murdered, and his body was thrown on the roadside. The family members alleged that there are cut marks on the neck of the youth.
There are injury marks on the back of the head as well. Blood was coming out of his mouth and head. The family has expressed suspicion about two friends of the youth. The Tripadi police station has registered a case of unintentional murder against both friends of Rohit.
According to the information, Rohit got married three months ago. He used to work as a caretaker for the elderly in Chandigarh. According to the family, Rohit had gone to get medicine with his friend at around six o’clock on Sunday evening.
He did not return after that. On calling, he and his friend did not receive the call.
His body was found on the roadside on Monday morning. Sukhwinder Singh Gill, in-charge of Tripadi police station, said that the police has taken the body into custody and started an investigation.
