Jaipur, July 15: A massive fire broke out in a flat of a five-storey apartment in Jaipur on Tuesday. The fire broke out due to a short circuit in a closed flat. Three fire engines that arrived from the Mansarovar fire station worked hard for about an hour to control the fire. The fire is said to have caused a loss of about Rs 10 lakh.
Fire Officer (Mansarovar) Divang Yadav said- Shri Shyam Heights Apartment is located in the Engineer Colony of Mangyawas. Rashmi Devi’s flat is on the third floor of the five-storey apartment. Rashmi Devi had gone out with her family. On Tuesday morning, around 7:45 am, smoke started rising from the closed flat. Within no time, huge flames of fire were seen rising from the flat. Seeing the huge flames rising from the flat, there was panic among the people present in the apartment. Families surrounded by the fear of fire left their flats and came out of the apartment.
Three fire engines brought the fire under control
On receiving information about the fire, fire engines were dispatched from the Mansarovar fire station. Efforts were made to control the fire with the help of three fire engines that reached the spot. Due to the fierce flames of the fire, the flats of Sarita Jain and Manish Sharma living nearby also got engulfed in it. The fire brigade employees brought the fire under control completely after working hard for about an hour.
In the preliminary investigation, it has been found that the fire in the flat was caused by a short circuit. It is being told that the fire has caused a loss of about 10 lakh rupees to the flat. The furniture, electronic equipment and household items kept in the flat were burnt to ashes. Along with this, the walls of the flat of Sarita Jain and Manish Sharma were cracked due to the fire. Along with this, they have also suffered a lot due to burning of their belongings after getting caught in the fire.
