Himachal government has relieved the IPS officer and SP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri today. Shalini Agnihotri is now going to Delhi on central deputation.
The government has handed over the additional charge of SP Kangra to SP Nurpur Ashok Rana. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena has issued orders regarding this.
On May 28, the Central Personnel Department has assigned the responsibility of Deputy Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy to Shalini Agnihotri. She will serve on central deputation for four years. Shalini Agnihotri is a 2012 batch IPS officer. Before Kangra, she has been SP Mandi.
Ashok Ratna will look after the additional charge of SP Kangra till further orders
The government has issued another order asking 2017 batch IPS Ashok Ratna to take over the charge of SP Kangra. Till further orders, Ashok Ratna will continue to look after the charge of Kangra SP.
