An Activa collided with a large truck parked on the roadside, due to which the condition of the elderly man driving the Activa became very serious on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Hansraj (age 59 years), resident of village Bhagwanpur, Tajpur. Village Sarpanch Varinder Kumar Babbu said that Hansraj used to work as a security guard. He was bringing the children home from school on an Activa.

During this time, his Activa collided with a truck parked on the highway. He could not be saved due to a deep head injury. At the time of the accident, the small children sitting on the Activa got scared, but they did not get any injuries and are safe.

Vehicles of both were seized, investigation continues

The Sarpanch said that Big trucks and trolleys parked on the highway without permission are a threat to the lives of common people, but the administration is not paying any attention to it. He said that every Sunday a large number of trucks, buses and tractors are parked on the highway in front of lane number-2 near village Bhagwanpur without permission.

Due to the negligence of the police administration, such accidents are happening again and again. Station in-charge Sub-Inspector Balveer Singh, who reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received, said that the police have taken both the vehicles into custody. Further legal action will be taken after recording the statements of the family members.
