Taking a dig at the opposition parties of the state, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today said that the ‘Main Punjab Bolda Haa’ debate was held to discuss serious issues facing the state but as the opposition parties had nothing to speak against him and the state government and therefore the parties Ran away from arguing.
Addressing during the ‘Main Punjab Bolda Haa’ debate, the Chief Minister said, “These leaders could not find a single flaw against me and my government for the past 25 days, so they could not dare to confront me on issues related to Punjab. ”
The Chief Minister said in clear words, “If these leaders were defeated and sent home, it does not mean that these leaders have been proved guilty for the betrayal they committed against Punjab.” He said that whenever these political leaders come to the people, they should be asked why you ran away from the debate on the issues of Punjab. CM said that these politicians in the state have enjoyed the pleasure of power for a long time due to which they are accountable to the people of Punjab on every issue.
The Chief Minister said that these leaders were invited for the debate so that each leader could come on this stage and present his side. He said that instead of coming on this stage, these political leaders preferred to run away from the debate by making excuses. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he will not let these leaders escape and will expose the faces of those who have betrayed the state.
The Chief Minister severely criticized these leaders for playing tricks to mislead the people of the state. He said that the whole world knows that the ancestors of these leaders SYL. By committing this unforgivable crime of construction, Punjab and its young generation have sown thorns in their path. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these selfish political leaders had agreed, planned and implemented the construction of this canal for their vested interests.
CM Mann proposed debate on the issues of Punjab was held here in PAU, Ludhiana. The debate aimed at discussing 19 issues of the sate ranging from SYL to Education system. It is noteworthy that all opposition parties were informed about the debate, but not a single leader from opposition reached PAU for the debate.
