Ludhiana: MLAs Ashok Prashar Pappi, Madan Lal Bagga, Gurpreet Bassi Gogi, Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Daljit Singh Grewal and Commissioner of Police Mandeep Singh Sidhu today released t-shirt for the country’s biggest cycle rally against drug abuse scheduled to be organized on November 16, the martyrdom day of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha.
Giving more information, the CP said that this cycle rally will become a catalyst in transforming anti-drug campaign into a mass movement wherein thousands of youngsters will participate to express their solidarity against this menace. He said that it a matter of great pride that this cycle rally is being organised in Ludhiana, which is known as the cycle hub globally.
Mandeep Singh Sidhu informed that the motto of this mega cycle rally would be “Nasha kise nu kehan nahi dena, nasha punjab vich rehan nahi dena”.
He further added that the cycle rally will start at 7am on November 9, i.e. martyrdom day of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha. The rally will start from PAU Campus and will also culminate at the same place after covering 13 kilometres.
Meanwhile, MLAs also lauded the efforts of Ludhiana Commiasionerate Police for holding this mega event in the city to spread awareness against drugs.
