Meeting of INDIA Bloc leaders today, issues including seat sharing to be discussed

New Delhi: A meeting of key leaders of the constituent parties of the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) will be held here on Tuesday, in which many issues including seat sharing, joint public meetings, and making a fresh strategy for the next Lok Sabha elections will be discussed. New Delhi: A meeting of key leaders of the constituent parties of the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) will be held here on Tuesday, in which many issues including seat sharing, joint public meetings, and making a fresh strategy for the next Lok Sabha elections will be discussed.

This meeting is taking place against the backdrop of poor performance of Congress in the recently concluded assembly elections. Congress has faced defeat in the Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. Sources say that in this meeting it is possible to discuss mainly setting a positive agenda, seat distribution, making a fresh strategy, and joint public meetings.

This meeting will be held at Ashoka Hotel, Delhi at 3 pm. Ahead of the meeting, Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that the Prime Ministerial candidate of the ‘INDIA’ Bloc will be decided after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. When asked whether the ‘INDIA’ bloc was delaying action on issues like seat-sharing, Mamata Banerjee said, “Better late than never.” Ready to campaign for alliance partners. She also met with Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and discussed the political situation in the country.

The RJD leader said, “Wherever there are regional parties, BJP is nowhere to be seen. Most of the regional parties are with the ‘INDIA’ Bloc .” When asked about the future role of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the alliance, Yadav said that everyone’s role is equal and everyone’s objective is the same That the divisive forces have to be ousted from power. A senior Congress leader said that to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the opposition parties intend to move forward with the slogan “Not Main, Hum” while maintaining unity.
