Dera Chief Ram Rahim gets parole of 50 days, 9th time in 4 years

During parole or furlough, he is not allowed to stay at the headquarters of his Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa.

 Sirsa: Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim of Haryana will once again come out of jail. On Friday, his 50-day parole was approved. Ram Rahim can come out from Rohtak’s Sunaria Jail by today evening or tomorrow morning. This time also he will stay in Barnava Ashram in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh.

Ram Rahim, who is serving sentence in Sadhvi sexual abuse, journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati murder case and Dera manager Ranjit Singh murder case, has come out of jail 8 times before. Last year on 21 November 2023, he got 21 days furlough. After the furlough ended, Ram Rahim returned to Surania jail on 13 December 2023.

  Whenever Ram Rahim came out, he stayed at Barnawa Ashram in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. During parole or furlough, he is not allowed to stay at the headquarters of his Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa.

Regarding this, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has also said that Ram Rahim has got parole or furlough as per jail rules.

Earlier,  For parole or furlough, Ram Rahim had given different arguments. First he argued to see his ailing mother. After which he came to the hospital in Gurugram. Later he sought parole to get his adopted daughters married.

Then he pleaded for parole to take care of his fields around the UP ashram and to celebrate the birth anniversary of former Dera chief Shah Satnam.
