13 toll plazas of Punjab to remain free, Qaumi Insaaf Morcha to protests for the release of Bandi Sikhs

Chandigarh: Toll plazas of Punjab will be made free for 3 hours today. Qaumi Insaaf Morcha has announced to intensify the protest demanding the release of captive Sikhs (Bandi Sikhs).

The Morcha will protest at 13 toll plazas in 9 districts. Qaumi Insaaf Morcha has announced to make these toll plazas free for vehicles from 11 am to 2 pm.

Leaders of Qaumi Insaaf Morcha said that for the last one year, dharnas have been organized on their behalf at the Punjab-Chandigarh border. A full year passed on January 6. But neither the central nor the state government has taken appropriate steps regarding their demands.

After this, the front has now announced to intensify the struggle for the release of the Bandi Sikhs. The leaders of the Morcha say that unless the government suffers losses, they will not listen to them. In the coming time, many more steps will be taken to intensify the struggle.

Firozshah Toll Plaza of Firozpur, Tarapur Toll Plaza, Azizpur Toll Plaza of Mohali, Bhagomajra Toll Plaza, Solkhian Toll Plaza, Barodi Toll Plaza, Paredi Jatta Toll Plaza of Patiala, Bamniwal Toll Plaza of Jalandhar, Ladowal Toll Plaza of Ludhiana, Ghalal Toll Plaza, Tarapur Toll Plaza of Faridko , Talwandi Bhai Toll Plaza and Toll Plaza of Nawanshahr.
