Big Initiative in Road Safety, CM Mann to dedicate ‘Sadak Surakhya Force’ to people Today

Formation of SSF aims at providing road safety to people on roads. It will protect people and will lead to decline in cases of road accidents.

Jalandhar: A new Police force formed for road safety will come into force today. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will dedicate ‘Sadak Sukhya Force (SSF)’ to the people of Punjab.

For this, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will be in Jalandhar today. He will dedicate SSF to people from PAP campus.

Under SSF, 144 hi-tech vehicles will be inaugurated by CM Mann. 5000 policemen of SSF will provide safety to people on roads. As per CM, SSF will be known as the most high-tech force of the country. SSF vehicle will be deployed every 30 km.

CM Mann also shared a video of SSF vehicles. In a post on X, CM said, “Today will be mentioned in the pages of History of Punjab. Today we are going to start ‘Road Safety Force’ keeping in mind the safety of people on the road… This will be the first force in the country which will be dedicated to road safety and traffic management… 144 hi-tech vehicles and 5000 road employees. But we will protect the people…Also, no police in the country has as many hi-tech vehicles as SSF does…”

About SSF Vehicles

These vehicles equipped with modern technology will help those who become victims of accidents or face any other problem on the highway. These police vehicles will also be equipped with webcam, medical kit and Wi-Fi. Drivers of such vehicles will be given special kits to wear so that their identification can be made easier.
