Rohtak: Anti Corruption Bureau arrested driver of District Welfare Officer for taking bribe of Rs 30,000

the team of Anti Corruption Bureau laid a trap to catch the accused and achieved great success in catching him red handed.  

Rohtak: As part of the continuous campaign against corruption, a driver working in the office of District Welfare Officer in Sonipat district was arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 30000 by the Rohtak team of Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau today.

Giving information about this, the spokesperson of Anti Corruption Bureau said that on the basis of information, the team of Anti Corruption Bureau laid a trap to catch the accused and achieved great success in catching him red handed.  

A bribe was being demanded in exchange for giving the benefit of the government scheme ‘Inter-caste Marriage Shagun Yojana’ to the relative of the complainant. Based on the complaint received, a plan was made to nab the accused and after investigating the facts, the accused was arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 30,000.

This entire proceeding was conducted with complete transparency in front of the witnesses. In this case, a case has been registered against the accused in the Anti Corruption Bureau police station of Rohtak and he has been arrested. The case is being investigated by the Anti Corruption Bureau team by collecting all the necessary evidence.
