Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira reaches High Court, says Gangster Arsh Dalla is giving Death threats

In the court, Khaira said that he has received death threat from gangster Arsh Dalla, who is hiding in Canada.

Chandigarh: Senior Punjab Congress leader and MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira has approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court for amendment in his bail orders. He has filed an application in the court saying that he is receiving death threats from gangsters and therefore he should be allowed to keep his licensed weapons.

In the court, Khaira said that he has received death threat from gangster Arsh Dalla, who is hiding in Canada.

He further said that he had deposited his licensed weapon, but now he is fearing for his life. Keeping this situation in mind, his depostied weapons should be returned to him.

The High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab Government after looking at all the parties in this matter. The next hearing od the case has been fixed on February 14.

 Earlier on Monday, the case registered against Sukhpal Singh Khaira was heard. In this, the police had filed their reply regarding the case registered against them.

Meanwhile, this application was filed by Sukhpal Singh Khaira. At the same time, now the court will look at the reply filed by the Punjab government. After that orders will be issued regarding further action.
