Chandigarh: In a major breakthrough, Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab has arrested 3 associates of Canada based terrorists Lakbir Landa and Pak Based terrorist Harwinder Rinda.
The three arrested associates have been identified as Joban jit Singh alias Joban, Bikramjit Singh alias Bikka and Kulwinder Singh alias Kala.
The preliminary information about the arrest of associates has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav.
Divulging more details about the arrested associates, DGP Gaurav Yadav said that Joban is wanted in India under UAPA , Arms Act, NDPS Act and IT Act offences. He has been absconding from long time. The accused Joban and Bikka are also wanted in more than one cases under IPC 307.
Sharing information about recovery, AGTF recovered 2 pistols and 10 live cartridges. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused were carrying out criminal activities on the directions of their foreign handlers.
