New Delhi The Central Govt has announced Bharat Ratna for former PMs Choudhary Charan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao and renowned agricultural scientist MS Swaminathan.
The Prime Minister said that Narasimha Rao has immense contribution in making India economically advanced. He laid solid foundation for its prosperity & growth. He said that Swaminathan played a pivotal role in helping India achieve self-reliance in agriculture, made outstanding efforts in.
Bharat Ratna to Charan Singh is for his dedication to his incomparable contribution to the country.
PM underlined the contribution of Narsimha Rao
PM wrote: “Delighted to share that our former Prime Minister, Shri PV Narasimha Rao Garu, will be honoured with the Bharat Ratna. As a distinguished scholar and statesman, Narasimha Rao Garu served India extensively in various capacities. He is equally remembered for the work he did as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister, and as a Member of Parliament and Legislative Assembly for many years. His visionary leadership was instrumental in making India economically advanced, laying a solid foundation for the country’s prosperity and growth.”
Choudhary charan singh’s grandson and RLD president Jayant singh has expressed happiness over this announcement by commenting, Dil Jeet Liya. Many other politicians and eminent persons have expressed happiness on these announcements of the govt.
