Chandigarh: Sanyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and national trade unions have announced Bharat Bandh today. At the same time, after the failure of the third round of talks, the United Kisan Morcha non-political and Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee has decided to sit on the Punjab-Haryana border.
Along with the bandh call, people have been urged not to go out unnecessarily. Farmer leaders clarified that this bandh call is from 6 am to 4 pm. Despite this, farmers will also block every main road from 12 noon to 4 pm. During this period no vehicle has been allowed to pass.
In Punjab, 37 farmer organizations and trade unions of the United Kisan Morcha will hold protests at 117 places in 23 districts across Punjab. During this period, roads will be blocked at all 117 places.
