Police has made a big revelation in the case of murder of a young man by shooting him outside Gate Hakima of Amritsar. In this case that took place on February 2, the police have arrested 3 youths and all three are aged around 18 to 19 years.
One of these accused suspected that the young man had illicit relations with his mother. After this a betel nut worth Rs 1 lakh was given. All three together shot and killed the young man in public.
In this case, the daughter of the deceased had expressed her suspicion that her father had a grudge against the youth Harjeet Namak and he used to stare at her while coming and going. The police had registered a complaint against Harjeet alias Raja based on the statements of the daughter, but in reality the accused turned out to be someone else.
Suspicion of illicit relations with mother
According to police investigation, three youths were involved in the murder of Yashpal. All three youths are around 18 years of age. One of these youths, Deepak Pratap, suspected that Yashpal had illicit relations with his mother. Yashpal also has an old rivalry with his family. On the basis of this suspicion, the son prepared his other two associates for the murder of Yashpal and killed him.
Contract Killing
In this case, son Deepak Pratap gave a contract of Rs 1 lakh to Prince and Danish for the murder of Yashpal. After which all three together openly opened fire on Yashpal and killed him.
Accused CaughtFrom Haridwar
Giving information about this matter, Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that by seriously investigating the matter, first the reason was found and then when everything became clear, the accused were caught during raids in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat. He has confessed to having committed the murder. While one of the accused had earlier fired bullets in the area of Police Station Cantt, FIRs have been registered against the other two in different cases at different places.
A case is registered against Prince in Nawanshahr in which he has been declared a PO. At present, both Prince and Deepak are residents of Chheharta and Danish is a resident of Kot Khalsa.
Police have recovered the 32 bore country made pistol used during the incident. In this case, the police is also investigating from where he got the illegal weapon and in what other crimes he has been involved.
