Seat Sharing between AAP-Congress for LS Election almost final; 3 for Congress and 4 for AAP in Delhi

National level seat sharing between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party is almost done.

New Delhi : National level seat sharing between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party is almost done. A consensus was reached between both the parties after several rounds of talks. Congress will contest elections on 3 seats and Aam Aadmi Party on 4 seats in Delhi. Congress can give one seat to Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat, one seat in Haryana and one seat in Assam.

Sources from both parties confirmed that they had settled for a four-three seat-sharing formula, with AAP contesting four constituencies and Congress on three. “Yes, the seat-sharing agreement for Delhi has been reached between both parties; we will disclose which seat will be contested by a candidate from which party shortly,” a senior AAP leader told

Congress and Aam Aadmi Party will contest elections separately in Punjab. In Delhi, Congress will contest elections on the seats of North East, North West and Chandni Chowk.
