NIA Raid at five places including AAP Block Pradhan, orders to appear at Delhi office on March 5

The NIA team raided five places in Bathinda on Tuesday morning. The team did not tell the reasons for this raid, but during the raid on the house of Sonu Kumar, resident of village Pathrala police station, Sangat district, Bathinda, questions were asked about his involvement in the farmers’ movement. He has been called to Delhi on 5 March.

On Tuesday, the NIA team raided five places in Bathinda, including the house of the block chief of Aam Aadmi Party. During the raid that lasted for about two to three hours, the NIA team seized some documents from the house of these people, which the team took with them and ordered them to appear in the NIA office on March 5. The NIA team has raided villages Baliyanwali, Rampura and villages Doomwali and Pathrala of Sangat Mandi in the district.

According to the information, the NIA team on Tuesday raided the house of AAP block head Gurvinder Singh alias Neeta in village Doomwali of Sangat Mandi, Sangat district Bathinda. This action lasted for about three hours. Although the NIA team has not found anything from Neeta’s house, the team has taken some documents with itself.

After this, the NIA team raided the house of Sonu Kumar, resident of Pathrala police station, Sangat district, Bathinda, village of Sangat Mandi. He has been called to Delhi on 5 March.

Sonu Sharma says that he is a small farmer. He doesn’t know why NIA has raided his house. The NIA team asked the people and women present in the house whether their son was going to the farmers’ movement. So we said that yes it is going, since we are middle class farmers and we are also in support of the demands of the farmers.We will continue to go to the farmers’ movement, but he did not say anything else and ordered us to come to the NIA office on March 5.

The third raid took place at the residence of Iqbal Singh, resident of Farid Nagar Mandi, Rampura police station city, Rampura district. During this raid which lasted for about two hours, the house was searched by the team. However, the NIA team refused to give any information related to the raid to the media. While leaving, the team officials gave a notice to the family in the name of Iqbal Singh in which they have been ordered to reach the NIA headquarters in Delhi on March 5 to investigate a criminal case.

On the other hand, the family members said that the team told them that their father had to be interrogated in connection with a fight. He said that he was not given any further information by the team in this matter.
