BJP’s Kuljeet Singh Sandhu, Rajendra Sharma file nomination for Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor

Malhotra also said that the country is continuously progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Chandigarh: As per the instructions of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Bharatiya Janata Party filed nomination papers for the elections for the posts of Deputy Mayor and Senior Deputy Mayor in the Municipal Corporation.

Councilor Kuljit Singh Sandhu from Ward No. 14 filed nomination for Senior Deputy Mayor and Councilor Rajendra Sharma from Ward No. 35  filed his nomination papers for the post of Deputy Mayor. Party state president Jatinder Pal Malhotra, senior leaders and workers were also present during this time.

On this occasion, State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra congratulated all the candidates and expressed hope for their victory and said that respecting the orders of the Supreme Court, our BJP candidates have filed nominations again. Both will win the elections. We are in the majority in the Municipal Corporation and we will win, said BJP President.

Malhotra also said that the country is continuously progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to continue this progress, BJP has always made meaningful efforts which will continue in future also. We have full hope that BJP will win both the posts.

On this occasion, State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra along with former President Sanjay Tandon, Arun Sood, State Vice President Davinder Singh Babla, Kailash Chand Jain, Jagtar Singh Jagga, General Secretary Amit Jindal, Hukamchand, all councilors and other workers were present.
